Lisa Dare Ellis | Co-Founder

Lisa brings 15 years of strategy and operations experience; she has worked at senior levels at the NYC Department of Education and the College Board and has consulted for numerous start-ups, supporting many from the ground up. Lisa is a graduate of the Broad Residency in Urban Education.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and has her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kevin Dare | Co-Founder | Advisor

Kevin brings over 20 years of corporate strategy, corporate growth, and investment experience to this passion project.   

Kevin is a principal at Rutherford Investments, a private equity group with $2.4 Billion of assets under management.  Rutherford is one of the leading affordable and attainable housing providers in California.  Rutherford serves over 14,000 residents in the properties that it owns.  Prior to Rutherford, Kevin was a Managing Director at Sand Hill Property Company where he helped develop some of the largest and most iconic mixed use development projects in the Silicon Valley.  

Before getting into real estate development and investing, Kevin was in technology.  He was a Director at InterTrust Technologies where he was involved in the strategic turnaround of InterTrust from a product company to a patent company to a successful acquisition by Sony and Philips.

Kevin began his career as a strategy consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he serviced a range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to start ups. 

Kevin serves as an strategic advisor to the Bay Area Anti Traffic Coalition (BAATC), a non-profit that fights against human trafficking.

Kevin graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Math Applied Science at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).


Margy Hillman | Instructional Designer

Margy Hillman’s work in digital instructional design is transformative whether applied to education or training. While she uses the design process as her framework, she creates a nucleus of intended objectives and imbues the learning path with stories, metaphors, characters, and interactivities that drive critical and creative thinking. Her philosophy is that to be meaningful, digital learning has to target the individual student and that the best learning awakens creativity, higher order thinking skills, connectivity, intrinsic motivation, resilience, confidence, and the joy of learning.

Before coming to Remarkible, Margy designed and developed digital literacy, language arts, math, finance, social science, and science learning curriculum for Powerschool, Lightspan, Let's Go Learn, San Diego Zoo Global, Blue Kayak, Jostens, Renaissance, Pearson, Edmentum, Computer Associates, Andersen Consulting, Apple, and SAIC. She has a BA in English and MA in American Studies (Literature and History); a K-12 teaching credential; and a Lifetime Community College Teaching credential in Language Arts and Literature and History.

In addition to her work at Remarkible, Margy is an adjunct professor at National University in the Strategic Marketing department.


Mike Erskine-Kellie and Susan McLennan

Mike Erskine-Kellie and Susan McLennan are winners of two regional Emmy awards for co-creating the TV series, Scientastic. They have created and/or written television shows for PBS, Disney XD, BBC, TVO, CBC including Franny’s FeetRanger Rob, PuccaTurbo Dogs1001 NightsEndangered Species, the Emmy Award-winning PBS show Zoboomafoo, and the Gemini Nominated CBC show Sketchcom. They are also recipients of a Harold Greenberg Award for their screenplay, The New Adventures of Jason and The Argonauts.

They also co- created, story edited and wrote for the TVO kids’ magic series Spellz, winner of the US International Film and Video Festival in Children’s Programming and a Silver Remi at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival. Their television series, Brian Paisley In Hell, was a recipient of OMDC funding.

Their first kids’ book, I Got You A Present was published by Kids Can Press in the spring of 2020. They created, wrote and starred in the animated online series, Spike & Toody, aimed at children between three and seven years old, covering a range of COVID-19-related subjects, such as how to be a good helper and how to practice good hygiene.

Mike and Susan also created a comedy website which was featured on radio shows across North America, on CBC’s The Hour, and in various publications, including The Daily News and The Ottawa Citizen. It also won some awards, including from National Lampoon and CBC and it was included in the Library of Congress.

Dr. David Lin

Medical Advisor 

Dr. David Lin is a licensed clinical psychologist with 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field.  He initially focused his attention working with children, adolescents, and adults for acute psychiatric care.  He received his doctorate degree in clinical psychology with specialization in neuropsychological evaluation and health psychology.  His first role was founder and Chief of the Medical Psychiatry Service.  He received many awards for his work in the area of integrated physical and behavioral health from the California Association of Public Hospitals, California Safety Net Institute, San Mateo Medical Center, and San Mateo County.

As a clinical administrator Dr. Lin served on the San Mateo Medical Center hospital board, medical executive committee, physician wellness, and ethics committee.  He is a LEAN certified event leader and in 2015 was selected for the prestigious UCSF California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) Leadership Program Fellowship. 

Dr. Lin is passionate about the how technology can enhance behavioral health services and reduce stigma.  In 2017 he joined Ellipsis Health as their Chief Behavioral Health Officer, helping create the first behavioral health vital sign by using machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyze natural speech.

Dr. Lin currently serves as the president-elect for the California Psychological Association (CPA), the largest state association of psychologist in the United States and is the past chair for the CPA Division I- Clinical and Professional Practice. 

Through all of this, Dr. Lin has always maintained a private practice in Burlingame, CA remaining connected to the clients and clinical work that he is most passionate about.  

Dr. Scott Olson

Dr. Scott Olson is a board certified adult, adolescent, and child psychiatrist and has been in private practice in Marin for over 25 years. He specializes in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, utilizing techniques of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness.

Dr. Olson completed his residency training in adult psychiatry at University of California, San Francisco, Department of Psychiatry. Following this he completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of California, San Francisco, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a board certified psychiatrist with the American Board Of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He is Licensed with the California Medical Board.

Dr. Olson has been selected on a number of occasions by physicians in Marin County as child and adolescent psychiatrist of the year.

While completing his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UCSF, he conducted a research study on psychiatric admission of adolescents. This study underlined the importance of effective techniques in outpatient treatment for adolescents.

Dr. Olson also served as a psychiatrist with the Menlo Park Veterans Administration Medical Center focusing on treating veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
